El hotel está situado a 10 minutos a pie de Piazza San Babila y del Duomo, en pleno centro de Milán. No muy lejos, encontrará las tiendas, el distrito financiero y actividades lúdicas. El hotel le recomienda que empiece su recorrido en Corso Monforte, Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga y Via Manzoni, las cuales están llenas de tiendas de diseñadores. Después puede visitar la piazza Duomo, en donde encontrará la hermosa catedral, símbolo de Milán, con sus torres espectaculares y escultura de belleza increíble. Pasando por via Brera, entre los edificios que datan del Siglo XVII, descubrirá la galería más importante de Milán, en el edificio núm. 28, en donde podrá apreciar objetos de arte de Raffaello y Piero della Francesca. De ahí, siga hasta la Piazza della Scala para que aprecie el templo de música de fama mundial, el Teatro alla Scala, conocido por La Scala. Si viene en coche: Desde las carreteras A1, A4 o A8: - Cuando pase la caseta de pago, siga hasta Centro y tome la vía de circunvalación Tangenziale Est. - Coja la salida núm. 6 (Forlanini), y continúe recto hasta Centro hasta que llegue a Piazza Cinque Giornate. - Gire a la derecha en viale Premuda y continúe por 500 metros hasta llegar a Viale Piave. Si viene en tren: Desde la estación central: - Tome el tranvía núm. 9 (piazza 4 novembre) en dirección Porta Genova. - Pase 8 paradas, y bájese en Piazza del Tricolore. - Camine por 100 metros hasta que llegue a Viale Piave, 5. - También puede tomar el metro MM3 (línea amarilla) en dirección San Donato. - Bájese en Repubblica y vaya a la parada de tranvía no. 30 (Aquileja). - Después de 4 minutos en el tranvía, baje en piazza del Tricolore, y camine por 100 metros hasta que llegue a Viale Piave, 5. Desde la Estación di Garibaldi: Baje en Porta Venezia, y camine hasta la parada de tranvía via Oberdan y tome el núm. 30 (Aquileia). - Después de 4 minutos, baje en piazza del Tricolore y camine por 100 metros hasta llegar a Viale Piave, 5. Si viene en avión: Desde el aeropuerto Milano Linate : - Tome el autobús 73 hasta piazza San Babila. - Camine por Corso Monforte por aproximadamente 7 minutos hasta llegar a piazza del Tricolore. - Gire a la izquierda y estará en viale Piave. Camine 100 metros hasta que llegue al núm. 5. Desde el Aeropuerto Milano Malpensa: - Tome el autobús Malpensa Express desde el aeropuerto hasta piazza Cadorna. - Tome el metro MM1 (línea roja) en dirección Sesto F.S., y baje en Porta Venezia. - Siga las direcciones para llegar a la salida en viale Piave. To get to San Babila from Hotel Atena, walk down Corso Monforte, for your first glimpse of showrooms and boutiques. From here you are right near Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga and Via Manzoni for the toniest shopping. Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Corso Buenos Aires are definitely more informal for more affordable but just as chic purchases! Between one window and the next youll find yourself in Piazza Duomo, home to the monumental cathedral that is the symbol of Milan with its spectacular facade full of spires and incredible sculptures. From here we suggest you take the traditional tour of the artistic and cultural highlights of the center of Milan which should be visited at least once. So, stroll down Via Brera, with its eighteenth century buildings. The pinacoteca is at number 28, the most important gallery of Milan with masterpieces by Raphael, Piero della Francesca and many others. Leaving here head to Piazza della Scala to see the world renowned music temple, Teatro alla Scala, better known simply as “La Scala”. Opening Night is held each year in December and is one of the coolest events of Italian and Milanese high society life.A little off the beaten path, but definitely not to be missed is the Last Supper, called il Cenacolo in Italian, the only fresco of the great Leonardo da Vinci. At night, in the center of Milan (zone 1, where Hotel Atena is located) there are countless things to do: bars and restaurants of all culinary persuasions, movie theaters around Corso Vittorio Emanuele, discos and theaters and all types of music in the numerous clubs.
